Children at the wedding

Hi everyone!

IMPORTANT INFO IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN!

For those of you coming to the church and bringing children, you should have had some info sent with your invite but just in case we missed anyone out, here's what you need to know!

Children are welcome for all parts of the day but during the service we will have some super-awesome babysitters on hand in the Colonel Dane Memorial Hall (the village hall in Alwalton) for the duration of the service. When you arrive at the church, the ushers will be able to point you in the right direction for the hall.

The hall will be open from before the start of the service and you will be able to pick your children up as soon as you like afterwards. For babies and children under 18 months, we will have ushers on hand to find you nice seats in the church close to an exit if you need to make a swift get away at any point!

All children are invited to all other parts of the day too. If you are coming to the meal and have a baby, please let us know so that we can have a chat about food. We will be having bangers and mash for the meal but as Dave and I don't really know anything about children, I suspect this isn't good for babies. Feel free to bring along any food you will need for babies/toddlers.

The ceilidh in the evening is great fun for people of all ages from toddlers to grannies! However as I'm sure it will be pretty noisy with lots of merry guests we hope to have a separate quiet room if you would like some piece and quiet with your children.

Please feel free to bring along toys or activities to keep your children entertained! we are hoping to have something child-friendly for children to do but with a wide range of ages and with not much time left for us to plan things, you are more than welcome to bring your own.
